Bank Holiday Walk
I do love a bank holiday. I love it even more when the weather is shinning and I have the weekend off. This weekend is no different, apart from working on Saturday until 2pm. As I was working on Saturday, my partner and I decided to chill for the rest of the day, after I had ran a quick 5k run. This was on the premise that we go for a walk outside of Portsmouth.

Come Sunday morning, we watching our normal Sunday morning TV programme. Well, I say our, what I mean is my partner's favourite show. Around 11am, we are now ready to leave to drive to Queen Elizabeth Country Park. We arrive there around midday and pay for a all day ticket. Just in case. We brought a map from the shop for 20p as we wanted to know where we was going. We looked at the distances on the map and went for the 1.6 miles route. It took about an hour to walk it as we wanted to take in the scenery.
It was a lovely day and a really nice walk. Please visit here for more photos. We had gone to Tesco's before arriving to get some food and drink. After our work, we went into the shade and ha our lunch while we spoke about our plans for London. Back to the walk, it wasn't flat. we had to go up a small hill. We didn't see any animals, however, we did see a couple of big dragonflies. The views are amazing, and we would recommend visiting if you have the chance. We plan to revisit with family and in a year or so and walk the 5 mile route. As mentioned before, please visit here for more photos.
