Glorious Nature

From the age of around 10 years old to 22, or maybe 23, I would never had thought I would like flowers. Up to 10, I used to help my late granddad to water his plants. Since I was given a camera, I have look at flowers in a different way.

Last weekend, my partner and I traveled back to her family home. While we were there, I went into the back garden with my camera and decided to snap away.

When taking photos, I try to see if I can grad a single, or a few couple, in the picture and see how it goes. The two above photos are my favourite.

We had been in London for not even 24 hours. My partner finished work at 8, and we left as soon as she got home. This was a Saturday and I had to be back home by Monday due to work. Her sister had an engagement party, well meal with immediate family only. I positioned myself at the head of the table, but in the middle. The table layout was in a T shape and I was at the joint. In front of me was a bunch of flowers. I got my camera out and played around with the colours. The only one I liked was bringing out the green, as you can see below.

I wont go on and on about the day, It was a lovely meal and we stayed until around 4, I think. When had to head straight back to Portsmouth. I drove there and my partner drove back. I kept my camera out and took a couple more pictures. Due to the car windscreen, the pictures are not amazing but I like them anyway.

This photo was taken while going over the Dartford tunnel and the below one was taken while going through the Hindhead tunnel. I had wanted to take a photo with the camera out of the car, but my partner said no. Rightfully too.
